lengthening a short face (SFS) is doable, but there’s not much that can be done if your face is overly elongated.

I think you can move the maxillary forward and then the mandible will follow and change the angle a bit.

but yeah, needs 20mm + of advancement

You think your bone is going to remodel itself, because?

Bones adapt to the forces placed on them, especially when theyre malleable
And you think some bodily force will reduce a 150 degrees gonial angle by 30 degrees? You know that Wolff's law does not imply that the form of the bones changes with force over time, only their strength. Women don't care about the strenght of bones. Women would be happy to date a Chad with brittle bone disease. When you're a child the form of your bones can change, I guess, because that explains the downward grown look anyways. But at age 25? Get out of here, that's coping.

the mandible stays the same, but when adjusting to the new maxilla, it will straighten a bit
OK. But 150 degree gonial angle will still look awful. The shape of the mandible is comical. Rotating it doesn't mask the deformity. Fixing it will be a matter of osteoplasties.

Im not talking about wolfs law though, i mean like pressure placed on the maxilla that causes the maxilla to grow up and foward

Like with orthodontic equipment and mewing

True, but the mechanism by which the maxilla becomes forward grown is related to the sutures of the skull. This is not the same mechanism that shapes jaw, and it's the deformity of the jaw that being downward growth causes that is the topic.

I think the origin of the gonial angle of the jaw becomes static after childhood, and the gonial angle only changes a few degrees naturally throughout the remainder of pubertal growth and elderly degeneration. So I think guys with 150 degrees better make peace with their looks like OP alludes to.

BSSO can decrease gonial angle?

I have an asian friend with that and he is around htn, he is also dolichocephalic for some reason JFL.

This could be fixed probably, you just need to rotate a few bones in skull.

To put it more concisely, gonial angle encapsulates of facial aesthetics than does mandibular plane angle. Rotation of the mandible can better mandibular plane angle, but it leaves gonial angle untouched and incel. This is why jutting is conspicuous fraud.

Something else that your attachment illustrates is that rotation would cause you to have a terrible submental region. Look at that hyoid bone stretch. It stretches like the hand of the looksmining undertaker. The hyoid might need to be repositioned if big rotation goes ahead.

Also what you think about nasal bridge, asking as one of most acknowledged people here. Could nose bridge implants reduce the flatness of asian face and give it more forward grown look?

I heard that japs are doing nose bridge operations with the epicanthoplasty, to get rid of flat face. But they are retards and instead of getting more PFL they get double eyelids, reducing it even more.

I'm not Thecel, but the truth is that it can't.

Dd

Notice the part in red of this picture. That is the upper maxilla. it creates anterior facial depth. If you protracted the nasal bone part of second maxilla of the picture, the face wouldn't gain fullness. Anterior facial depth sets how close the ala of the nose is to the cheekbones and eyes. And the more distance the more fullness of the face. Thecel's current profile picture demonstrates what fullness a few millimeters of upper maxilla can bring to the face.

You can go a bit insane with upper maxillary projection. But you know furries? They anthropomorphize the bodies of dogs and wolves and tigers, but not so much their skulls, because most of the members of those animals have very large amounts of upper maxillary projection as vertebrates. As yourself how often you see artwork depicting a pug as a human? You could analogize Asian upper maxillary projection to that of a pug dog. ...Maybe that's a bit harsh. I'm only trying to prove a point about facial aesthetics.

As you can imagine, any surgery that can turn the face of a pug dog into a cocker spaniel must be invasive.

Bud that's some dogpill knowledge right here. My maxilla is not that recessed, it's much better than average for asians, but I have flattish nose bridge. My profile is similar to this guy.

This guy's have pretty similar side profile(well its 3/4 but uhh), but lower guy got good nasal bridge.
IMG 20250528 174908 117

How much you think adding the nasal bridge to upper guy would ascend him?

It's hard to explain, but last guys nose bridge connects with his browridge with a straight line, while the upper guy have it disconnected.

P.S. I talk with anthropologists a lot, since uh... they are pretty familiar with looksmxxxing most of times, and in anthropology having a projected nose is considered as having projected side profile if that matters.

None. He has alright upper maxillary projection. That guy is already good looking anyways.
Mooof

That guy has greater facial depth. And Chadly orbital vector like damn. This is an instagram Chad. You see how his bony cheekbones are highlighted by the streetlights? This is not a fair comparison. That guy has a whole extra PSL over the dude in the photoshoot.
It's hard to explain
What's hard to explain is facial depth when you haven't learned about it. It's a very important concept.

It's actually the nose bridge I think that causing it to him I think, maybe idk. I got the facial depth thing but projected nose could seriously help with that. Can I send you my pics in pm and ask couple questions?.
