Genuinely one of the saddest things when your parents are oblivious to how this world works and basic human biology. I discovered bp around 16-17 y/o, I was a really late bloomer and could have changed my life if I implemented everything I've wanted to since then. If I had the money, I would get my own place take roids, and a bunch of other shit I specifically tailored to maximize myself. The older generation has this mindset of "looks don't matter" and "everyone has a soul mate." Your parents govern your habits as a child during development. If the habits they instill within you during your early years are not good, then it's over. If they don't understand the importance of looks, especially for males in THIS generation, then it's over. I have maybe 3 years left, in which I believe I can achieve my goals without surgery. If that window closes, it's truly over. I can't imagine being MTN for the rest of my life. If you have the chance / the money, get your own place and do what needs to be done.
