I didn't know about this but it is actually a thing. My coworker told me about them. There are certain elite private schools in the bay area that are even harder to get into that the ivy league colleges an. Their tuition fee itself is like $85k a year and Almost all the people from these schools end up in elite colleges like Stanford, Harvard, Caltech etc.

Not really. I've never been to Canada only the US. I was offered the H1B visa with sponsorship when I was given a PPO but I declined. I want to stay close to home for a few years and rn the political climate doesn't seem to be good and was adviced to lay off the idea for some time. I rn work from home in a remote job.

US not Canada and yes I declined. The company policy was only to offer it to people with 2 years of experience but they made an exception for me because of my performance and offered a raise. I made a thread about it too

LA also has public high schools with a 150 IQ cutoff (not even 130, 150). Friend knew someone who went there, ended up at MIT. AFAIK Ben Shapiro attended one too jfl take that as you will!
