if they had to actively look for food they would be doing more then 10 mins of activity a day

you have to use gym equipment to do alot of calisthenics, even if its improvised
also wouldn't squatting/deadlifting with weight be a more similar movement to carrying a deer compared to lifting yourself on a bar

i do martial arts and it takes place in a gym where we use gym equipment to perform better. martial art cels are a type of gymcel

Just like dogs sometimes want to play with a ball, a toy or just run around, people also have these desires of doing athletic activities, lifting weights could be included. However gymcels don't train properly plus most are wageslaves who don't sleep enough and eat improperly, everything is a mess which ends up being harmful and counterproductive.

I belive you should never go to muscle failure in a way to avoid the stress. Stress will masive age you, is what ages all living beins. Overall good health and proper nutrition will keep your muscles and bones healthy, as long with enough stimulation to keep everything from atrophiation. The problem is most of gym bros overtrain, have shity carbs based diets and biologicaly ages them to the point you can see from outsides that they look older. For women gym is more dristructive because they go for lean, low body fat and low body fat is harmfull for females hormones, makes them infertile more quicker.

There's something very relaxing about being in water + collecting some cool shells if you can
