Some cultures adopt a firm patrearchial systems that suppresses individuality, punish freedom of speech, normalize child marriages and honor killing and restrict personal freedoms to abide to the norms of that society.their laws focus mainly on tribes rather than the individual
You find these kind of cultures in the mena,south Asia and sub saharan africa. Ofcourse not every individual in those regions follow or believe in the practices but the vast majority is.
Multiculturalism expect people with different beliefs to abandon their way of life once they get a citizenship but that won't happen.
Ofcourse not every culture is perfect but Some cultures are better than the others
