Have been looking into steroid injections a doctor can give to hopefully kill the scarring underneath it

A dermatologist can analyse what type of marks are those. It, can be birthmarks, sunsports, hyperpigmentation, all of them combine, etc.
Each one can have a different approach, but a treatment in a clinic usually is cheap and easy as fuck.

Even if they don't go away completely, it would be worst and much harder to treat if they were on the face, on the body its whatever, you just need to minimize it visually.

My GP said they weren’t keloids but two are hypertrophic/raised
He said because I’m of my skin colour in probably more prone to scarring but that they should flatten over time.
They have flattened a bit but the colour is still there.
I think I’ll take it to the derm when I can and ask for a steroid injection to destroy the scarring
