i remember reading this one chapter in gothic violence by mike ma where he talks about how modern movies are created to fulfill your urges without actually acting upon your urges.

an example of this is the new netflix movie "unabomber" which is about Ted K. this movie unconsciously will fulfill people's natural desires to be in nature and fight to be in nature so that they don't actually do anything.

this is disgusting and something needs to be done about it.
