Thinking about getting the expander of maxilla the second time

Ive noticed that its actually quite uncomfortable for me to hold my tongue up to roof of my mouth, although i have already had expansion of my maxilla, what do you think can you actually get it the second time?

And i also have scars of teeth on the side of tongue
