talk to every NPC in a giant sized city, visit every corner of every map, get wrecked by enemies who are 4 levels higher than you because you accidentally stepped in a high level area, get fucked by a dice roll so you fail to steal that quest related item and make the powerful mage aggro towards you giving you no other choice than killin her. It feels more like a job than a game lmao

I won't play that game but if you are semi schizo or have ADHD some games which are lineal can screw you up because it's like you feel the necessity to complete everything and you play it but you don't enjoy it.

That's why i love straight to the deal PS2/PS3 3rd person lineal games like Uncharted, Resident Evil, Dead Space and Max Payne. They have collectables but just a small fair amount and don't mess with your head.

it's not a skill based game lol you get good by knowing where the good loot is and when you're ready to visit an area, it's more like a dungeon and dragons experience for single player on PC you don't really do anything except for a lil bit of strategy into arranging your party and positioning them and casting some spells. if an area is too high level you will get wrecked no matter what you can't roll your way out like in elden ring

act 3?
i didn't find it that overwhelming compared to act 1 tbh. If you finish every main quest in the city its not a a lot imo.

no bro act 1. save scumming basically makes this game trivial as there is no skill involved so if you know exactly what's going to happen there is no way you can lose lol i only reload if the MC dies or whole party gets wiped out

That collecting stuff is only good in survival and very difficult games like the old Stalker or Tarkov.

if you want to have a chance at late game bosses in most rpgs you have to grind like 30-40 hours to get ideal stats and equip lol i spent like 100 hours in ff X and XII grinding loot and stats for super bosses

you in the underdark yet?
its the most important part of act 1, all the good loot is in there.

i really on save scummed on dice rolls where i want the right path or during boss fights.
the game gets a lot easier after act 1

It also is necessary in games like Bethesda type Fallout/Starfield etc

In fact they are made for completist people. I just don't understand why they need to constantly remind you that you can pick up some glass.

bg3 isn't that bad in terms of cutscenes.

have you played Arcanum before?

no bro is it based on D&D dice rolls or do you actually have to use strategy to win battles and can't rely on lucky rolls? i don't love this system i get why this game got all the praise because the role playing elements and the NPC banter and the atmosphere but this D&D doesn't work for console games imo

last area in the game is actually barren af and cleary unfinished, there are barely any quests despite the city being huge

how this game got all the praise is beyond me, it doesn't hold a candle to actual good games like final fantasy or elder scrolls

Ever played dark alliance?

I played once the 4 games straight. When you finish the prison break in Uncharted 4 knowing it will be the last game in the saga was one of the most amazing game moments i have seen.

Also those bastard nazi zombies in Uncharted 1 are the most underrated horror moment in games, and the beggining 3-4 hours of Uncharted 3 are some of the best in gaming i lived also.

Why you ask? I think so. Being so fixated on small details and being a perfectionist for hobbies while completely lacking care in other fields.

Dungeons and dragons is a skill based game. The combat is based off an old war game similar to Warhammer 40k. If your the appropriate level you should never have too much trouble as long as you have good positioning

Goldeneye 64 mogs

its basically over
