The reason is because when you rep someone they might think you're hitting on them. I legit'd Dr.Bludy's post once because I agreed with him and he responded like "why do you rep my post? You don't agree with me". Repping is just an efficient way to communicate sometimes, it's not like we're besties just because I liked one of your post jfl!
