Title: Tbh I was raised by my parents to fight for everything to study hard, land a good job and build a successful life To them success meant stability, money, and respect. And I’ve carried that mindset with me all along
But every time I log onto the forum, I see people glorifying the NEET lifestyle living stress-free, detached from the grind, and seemingly content. Honestly, I’m jealous of people like @optimisticzoomer who can live that way without a hint of anxiety.
The thing is, I could do it too. My dad is rich and my family has multiple income sources I could retire to live a comfortable life right now if I somehow convince my parents and if I really wanted to but after working so hard for my degree and everything it feels like it would be a disservice to myself and my parents to just give it all up and rot away
