And whenever women break into the arts, what do they do? Most times they default to making art about women as women (men write about men, but not usually about men as men). Look at the most famous female painters, probably Georgia O'Keeffe and Frida Kahlo. One paints vaginas and the other paints ass loads of self portraits.
