Furthermore, the growth of facial bones is heavily influenced by mechanical stress and muscle activity. Overtraining these muscles can lead to excessive tension that compresses surrounding nerves, such as the zygomaticotemporal and auriculotemporal nerves, potentially restricting blood flow and reducing the effectiveness of nerve signaling.
