I remember when I used to work at a supermarket last year this random slut walking the aisle said “wow, it’s cold in here! I don’t know how you guys do it”

and in my mind I knew the words to say but when I said it, it came out making no sense. I said to her,

“yeah sometimes it gets so cold in here that I feel warm”

but in my mind what I meant to say was that sometimes it was so cold that my mind ignored the coldness and and replaced it with warmth.
