Like, seriously, how do you idiotic children with no experience paying your own bills, never having had a full time job, think that you have a right to give ideas or advice for making money??????? Every day I see some idiotic 14 year old make a essay long chatGPT generated thread about some literal tate tier scam they fell for and larp about. How the fuck do you expect to know shit about moneymaking and success as a social outcast in highschool wtf??? This subforum should ban all minors from posting. This is genuinely the worst place you could possibly go to get advice for success and the sad part is there used to be actual viable niche methods here because it wasnt a bunch of 14 yr olds spamming all day thinking theyre going to make a million daytrading. Fuck you and go get a part time job while working on a marketable skill and leave moneymaxxing for adults please.

I don't really get involved in this subforum unless its to question it or laugh at Jatt losing insane amounts of money, but having some subforums that are by default private, and would require you to apply to view and/or post would be pretty cool, not just this subforum but some other ones aswell

and I'm sure there's better forums for moneymaking than looksmax.org

There’s an insane amount of information many of them seem shitty tbh, I used to never look in here but now I’m planning out going to college by this time 2027 and I want to have done surgeries by then and (as compounding theory does ofc) I come from a broke family on top of being a sub5, so I need at least 1 major surgery before being able to go to college and receive treatment as a normal human, and I need a sizeable amount of money saved post taxes in like a year, year and a half.

Do you know any good sources where I can find decent information on moneymaxxing?

I started programming when I was 10 years old. I got my first job right out of highschool as a dishwasher and worked full time enough to buy a car. 3 months after that I applied to a job at an extremely large tech company (you would know the name) as a low level game QA tester where I would find issues and report them, I worked my way up from this position into a QA engineer where I find the bugs but also give detailed information to fix them and create my own test cases. I did this while going to college full time and I now have my degree and work remote. Ive also came up with multiple ways of making supplementary income along that way (which ive posted here) such as link farming with macros, scamming sugar daddies on snapchat and a few other things. In 2021, I played the shitcoin casino for a while, and I made a very large sum of money after apeing into 2 specific coins: McDc (mcdonaldscoin) and Hoge. From both these coins I made around 40k. I dont want to work my entire life, that I can agree with, ideally I would like to eventually start some sort of business myself, hopefully I can be my own game developer, but if there are any blackpills ive learned over 6 years of being a pseudo entrepreneur and taking a few business classes as my electives its that without an extremely high iq, finding a very lucky niche, or being VERY GOOD ort atleast VERY MARKETABLE at a professional skill (your looks significantly impact your marketability), (and often you need all combined) you arent going to just start your own business from nothing. And another thing ive learned from being around these forums for my entire young life is that 99% of people are larping teens. That being said, there ARE IN FACT ways of taking advantages of bubbles and opportunities online to make a bit of supplementary income and score. The difference between someone who knows what theyre talking about and larping kids is that the larping kids dont think ahead and expect to not have to work a job because they found some niche method of making money online. Whereas people who actually make money are aware that these lucrative oppertunities are often extremely unsustainable and shouldn't be treated as your bread and butter, rather as an addition to something that will alow you to earn money into your old age, whether that be a large capital investment or a marketable skill.

Unfortunately, ever since FI/ER became this absolutely massive zeitgeist due to guys like Andrew Tate, it's very difficult to find any good forums. It is a bummer, because before this was a huge tiktok trend most of these forums had legitimately great information and niche strategies.

What type of game do you want to make?
Do you consider yourself proficient at coding? In which programming language? How did you land your first legit job as a QA tester? What experience did you have that got you accepted? What was the starting salary?

It was always pretty shit tbh. 2020-2022 was just ewhoring.

Well, ive made games before, Ive made alot of souls like and horror games, but my dream has always been to make an MMO. Thats something you need LOTS of resources for though which is why id like to be more than just a hobbyist developer. Of course I'm proficient I went to college for it, I learned tons of languages during college I mean we even took an assembly class. C++ pyton lua c# react etcetcetcetc. I got my first job through craigslist funnily enough, I sent in this really detailed thought out cover letter and the recruiter told me he selected me due to the cover letter. It was right before the pandemic so this was when the job market was really open, and also I had plenty of experience beforehand with beta testing titles and making silly little highschool games, but I honestly really doubt they cared about that. The salary was absolutely shit. No more than working retail, because it was contract work so they took a massive portion. But it still mogged retail because it was literally just shooting the shit with cool ass ppl and playing games all day, I probably got paid over 1000 hours to just play games casually because there was so much down time and we could just play games we enjoy during our downtime (lmfao).

What program did you use to make those video games? Also you used to make them alone as a hobby?

I mean you could learn tons of languages but u usually forget/ don't get that proficient at it if you don't use it all the time.

"Really detailed thought out cover letter"

What did you mean by that? Like what exactly caught the recruiters' eyes do you think? Especially since you were fresh out of highschool (correct me if I'm wrong)

I always have made them alone as my hobby. I guess im most proficient at c++ c# and react, I dont really remember TBH because it was 6 years ago but I remember him just saying that noone else sent in a cover letter like that. And ye, after the pandemic went into full swing we went fully remote. It was the best gig I ever had despite the low pay tbh

they already exist. There's are various founders forums and all where you show a proof of your 6 figure income and then you're given access
