title might seem confusing but this clinic im looking at for implants is offering $500 the total price of a chin implant, but in exchange they can use my before/after and other media of me for promotions on their social media, their website, etc.

personally, in terms of surgery as it usually costs thousands, $500 aint that much but it could probably go to good use in other aspects of my life. moreover the surgery is overseas, so that could go to a better time over there lol
im also not comfortable with my face being out there, it'll be out there forever. even if years later i dont want my face out there, i've already agreed to it. it's pretty much irreversible.

i just wanted as many takes and opinions as possible, i could firm it but honestly im not fond of the idea

I think its fine. Obviously the clinics/surgeons need to show good results to attract more customers. I wonder if they try to make deals like this with everyone. What if the result ends up being bad after making a deal like this? Would they still post it/would the customer still get the discount? Personally I would want at least a couple of thousand discount if they want to post mugshots of my bird faced before & after online.

An interesting topic for once.

I suppose they don't offer so much because some results are bad and they'd only want to advertise with the good results. In which case, why don't they offer after the swelling has gone down? Low-IQ business? They have to take the before photo, I guess.

Me personally, I would gladly take the $500. It's not like this will ever come back to bite you in the ass unless you become famous, in which case, your .org history might be more of a concern.
