I believe it’s better to abort the child rather to make him go through a life of misery ( if the parents are young, poor or unstable). There are absolutely no arguments against it besides the fact that it harms the women’s reproductive system and should not be used as a contraceptive.

Why isn't it moral? I can't see away to justify banning abortion unless your religious. If souls don't exist, your not losing anything. There is no suffering in abortion. There is nothing close to a consciousness.

What kind of retarded question is this. Morals are innate, not learned. Empathy is engrained into our minds, just like emotions. That's why your considered mentally insane if you are unable to feel empathy and labeled a psychopath. If this isn't enough proof for you, animals have senses of empathy, even without cultures or religions.

Although, morality, outside of instinct, (like innate grief for a terminally ill family member) is mostly a social construct. So you wouldn't be wrong to say some parts of morality is learned. But you would be wrong to say morality learned from a god is absolute, because that is purely cultural.
