EU, the doctor should be willing to help you I think, I suppose go to another or something, but do not do shit yourself unless you have your own orthodontist, maybe one of your parents or something like that, that could be checking on you.

I could not find any reliable sources on whether the site is a scam or not, I simply could find multiple websites claiming they are most likely legit, but nothing proving that to a safe degree.
