What type of nose are you trying to achieve? A male's nose should look strong and a bit broad.
This device looks like would make it delicate and thin?
When people use to wear really thick glasses back in the day, you could tell the difference in the nose shape when these people took off the glasses. Especially the tip and the wings. So I assume this device would work if worn for way long periods.

The motivation to do research on the effectiveness of something is how profitable it can be.

This device costs 1-3 dollars on ebay.

No surgeon will want to finance a research on this device so he can earn cents of profit each piece.

Surgeons wanna sell nose jobs. They can afford a wealth lifestyle selling those.

Just give up on reliable sources for something that costs 2 dollars.
