where would i want to press if i want to target forward growth my palate is 45mmI only focused on expansion so the latter
Right behind the alveolar ridge, between your 1st premolars. Pull forward.where would i want to press if i want to target forward growth my palate is 45mm
How do you thumbpull? Could you show me a more indepth routineMy routine was 1.5 minutes every hour, back, middle, front of the maxilla for 30 seconds each. If you often notice yourself to have a stuffy nose, you'll feel it clearing up midpull.
So bro I have 6 teeth smile at 16 years old . Genetic from my family my dad and mom has narrow as well. But if I start for around 3 hours every day thumbpulling on my molars and premolars will I see results in a month ?These pictures are July-August 2025.

As you can see my FWHR is horrendous and my zygomatic projection is utter shit.
Used to have to spray xylometazoline/oxymetazoline just to breathe thrice a day.
Distance between 2nd premolars: 34mm;
IMW: 39mm.
I'd give myself LLTN on those pictures.View attachment 4828882View attachment 4828884

Undoubtedly look better. Greater zygomatic projection. Breathing is on point.
Around February-March 2026.
Distance between 2nd premolars: 36.5mm (+2.5mm);
IMW: 41mm (+2mm).Simple, the midpalatal suture has shown to be easily ruptured in fully closed shut scenarios at 86N. Study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23377077/
In a younger person that threshold is much lower, and thumbs can easily exert such force.
It is likely often, short bursts of pulling would be more effective to maintain width and widen the maxilla.

I barely followed this routine because I'm a lazy fuck, but I'm pretty sure your results would be way better if you were to be more consistent. Don't take pauses like I did (like November-December 2025), the osteoid takes time to calcify and become actual bone.
I also suggest upping the time if you're capable of it. Don't be aggressive, consistency is key.
I also happen to notice expansion in the pterygoid region may aid very well. To do so, locate triangle shaped bone behind the last molars. They'll be in the beginning of the soft palatal region. Pull them apart for 30sec as a beginner and mote if you wish to.@Orka @foidletslayer @Grilldaddy❤️ @MouthBreathingElite @looks>books
