To me - no, would depend on his face. If he has fwhr less than 1.7 he would benefit from it

I had extremelycrooked teeth 2y ago before braces, now my teeth are straight and when I smile all of my teeth show up except for second molars cause mouth isn't as wide. If my mouth would be wider second molars would show up too.

showing teeth is one thing, needing braces is another. if you need braces than you have a narrow palate if your palate was wide enough from the start than it wouldnt have caused any problems

How long have you been wearing them and how long do you have to wear them? I will also be getting braces soon and my teeth look like yours as in the 1st photo only a little straighter, but the situation is still similar.

he has all his teeth except his 3rd molars and his maxilla is overly grown so i dont think he has a narrow palate

O pry's jaw is in fact recessed, which you can see based on his lips, he did genie to mask it but lips don't lie


With barrett its the opposite, his jaw is good and lips are aligned, but chin is weak

wide palette eliminates your chance for having hollow cheeks as the distance between cheeks and ur teeth decrease and ur teeth start to push ur cheeks out

braces help with development and fix ur face if u have malocclusions
