Femur:

- You get more height (around 7cm vs 5cm in Tibi)
- Shorter recovery period
- Less scarring

Those are the pros of each. Basically the main reason to do Tibia comes down to cost - you get tibia done for $15k in quite a few places, femur is 3x this.

$15k would be around the price in Russia. They literally invented LL and have been performing it far longer than the 'glorious' west.

One can always wear insoles/elevator shoes to make tibias look taller. Femurs are the best bet for 3-4 inch lengthening with minimum complications.

Femur. Stronger bone and can give you up to 3 inches. 5'10 to 6'1 is really good. But at the same time, 5'10 to 6'0 is also good.

Go with whatever is cheaper. Researc thorughly and according to your budget.
