TL;DR it’s over for Earth after 500,000,000 more years.

10,000 Years from now

The earth’s axil tilt will reverse causing dramatic changes in climate across the world.

50,000 Years from now

The earth will enter another ice age regardless of global warming trend. Niagara falls will cease to exist. Many of Canada’s lakes will become frozen and nonexistent. Earth’s days become a whole second longer.

100,000 Years from now
zodiak_band.jpg

The current constellations seen in the sky today become irrelevant and unrecognizable.
The Earth would likely have had a super volcanic eruption of magma with the volume of Lake Erie by this time.

500,000 Years from now
asteroid-near-miss-what-if-asteroid-hit-earth-space-1170202.jpg

Earth would likely have been struck by a 1 km in diameter asteroid by this time.

10,000,000 Years from now

A new ocean forms which will divide the continent of Africa into two separate continents.

100,000,000 Years from now

A shift beneath the Atlantic ocean causes the Americas to start shifting back towards Africa.
Also Saturn’s rings will be mostly gone by this time.

180,000,000 Years from now
25-hour-day-741074.jpg

The day will be 25 hours long due to Earth’s rotation slowing down.

300,000,000 Years from now
novopangea.jpg

All the continents on earth merge back into one supercontinent.

350,000,000 Years from now
earth-continents-tectonic-plates-novopangea-1620752.jpg

The Pacific Ocean will close and be isolated from other oceans.

500,000,000 Years from now

A distant supernova affects Earth’s ozone layer, triggering another mass extinction.

600,000,000 Years from now
Tami-eclipse3.jpg

The moon is far enough away from Earth that solar eclipses are no longer possible.
The sun becomes so hot that the Earth’s carbon cycle ceases to exist. 99% of plant life undergoes mass extinction.

800,000,000 Years from now
Sahara20desert.jpg

Life on land becomes a barren desert, most animals migrate to poles if there are any left. Most of earths life is only present in the oceans.
The lack of plant life means there’s nothing making oxygen to replenish the ozone layer. The lack of ozone allows harmful radiation through the atmosphere.

1,000,000,000 Years from now
3-ocean.jpg

27% of the oceans will have sunk underground.

1,100,000,000 years from now
14983_ce6f311f2548c0e40fbd9beaaa288d32.jpg

The sun is 10% hotter making Earth’s average temperature 47 C or 116 F.

1,200,000,000 years from now
Deforestation1.jpg

All plant life is extinct

2,000,000,000 Years from now
s9uo0blowkmx.jpg

All the oceans are gone

2,800,000,000 Years from now
NGvZZwZcEUCM8js47GnPBZ-320-80.jpg

Earth’s average temperature is 147 C or 296 F.

3,000,000,000 Years from now
rogue-planets.jpg

Earth has a 1 in 100,000 chance to be ejected out of the solar system and a 1 in 3,000,000 chance to then be caught by another star.

4,000,000,000 Years from now
58274b72691e881c008b669d-750-469.jpg

Earth is so hot it basically becomes what Venus is now.

7,590,000,000 Years from now
Red_Giant_Earth_warm.jpg

The Earth and Moon have a 99% chance of being swallowed by the sun.

8,000,000,000 Years from now

The sun cools down and becomes a white dwarf.
All planet temperatures drop dramatically.

Even at the end of time, humanoids still won’t have a 100% cure for baldness.

We will all be in the cloud by then. The mystery of conciousness will be uncovered and our minds will be transferred into technology. Eventually we will live in VR forever.
