He should have received healthy relationships, love, and connection in childhood - but it's too late now, so he doesn’t react at all
Everyone knows stories of beaten dogs who rose up, but the feeling of inferiority stays. Or of adults buying the console they couldn’t afford as kids - but it’s not the same.
You need the bike in childhood, to feel the wind on your face as you grow, not when you're grown and see the world differently.
