I use vanicream moisturiser because it doesn’t have any unnecessary shit in it that will do more harm than good.

You’ll also need something from dry lips like a lip balm.

im on my last month of accutane

- you will be fine if you miss a few days dont stress.
- you become less dry as it goes on (even with dosage increase)
- best moisturizer in MY opinion is santa cruz beef tallow facial moisturizer (i know.. tiktok) it keeps me moisturized the longest, feels good af, doesnt smell like anything, doesnt have any look on your face, you barely have to use any (and its cheap so you save a lot) and no shit chemicals in it
- drink water

enjoy back pain for a little

Hey thank you for your answer, just took the frist of accutane pill, the moisturizer i bought its aloe vera atm will combo it with spf 50 pa+++, did u also needed to do blood test every 4 weeks?

they said we will do blood tests but we never did, i never used sunscreen during accutane either and my skin only improved (not saying to not use sunscreen btw)

Even my height couldn't save me in the first picture. Trying to reach HTN eventually (preferably without surgeries), hopefully after puberty I'll have more bone growth and look more masculine but for now I think I just have to get in the gym and pray

eryhtromycin is an antibiotic which you can take orally, its really usefull for dealing with acne, usually the first choice is doxycycline but it cant be taken with accutane, im not suggesting it as an alternative to accutane but as the title states "tips before accutane"

purge can be very severe and not even scars but the PIE itself can last years, eryhtromycin is very safe and effective, there is 0 downside to using it once before accutane treatment.
you are litreally coinfliping trading NOTHING for severe, long lasting scars

when you have regular acne not some goofy ahh pimple 2 times a week a purge is almost guaranteed, which is why your best judgement in this case is very easy, you wouldnt expect a purge out of a very mild acne
