Tips for styling hair while Balding?

Does anyone have any advice for styling hair while receding. Context, I’m currently Norwood 1, my hair is still thick but it naturally straight and untextured. When I style my hair as a fringe it loses volume throughout the day near the receding parts and then creates this bumpy bed head look.

Any advice for how to go around this?
