I recently purchased a forwardonitics bow that is supposed to encourage forward growth.

I am 25 and recently got braces a few months ago. I plan to attach bands to the hooks in my mouth for the braces and get forward growth hopefully. I tried this out for one day and so far so good. I can breathe a little better.

Are there any tips or advice when using appliances to get forward growth? I will only have braces for a short time, and I cant take advantage of it if for example my teeth shift or buck out the dentist will have to fix them.

Any suppllements, foods, drugs, lifestyle changes? I want to get extremely forward grown as possible.

Just make sure you are taking in enough magnesium and K2 as many people neglect that.

Post a pic of you attaching to your mouth

  1. Can I use as much force as I want or will too much force damage my face?
  2. Would higher test levels help my face grow more?

I have some transdermal magnesium and alot of k2.

I will make sure to use them.
Anything else?

If you have that covered you are probably good. Most people get enough D3 and calcium.

i mean mewing works so mew while its off

I'm not sure if attaching it to braces is the best idea. Generally MSE beforehand is advisable. I actually bought the facebow aswell, to pull with an even stronger force, but I damaged the molar attachment from mse by another static facepuller I built and pulled too strong(lol)

I'm currently looking into anything that could speed up results significantly. For example I'm not even sure that greater force necessarily means faster results from my experience. I will take a look at substances that would increase bone growth(igf-1 related) in the next days. Maybe you or others find ideas aswell

Also, unrelated to your question, I think there is a misconception about facepulling. It is rather meant for people that need growth along the sutures forward and downwards. For upswing other methods might be better imo. One is sheer bone growth, the other is bone remodelling

I asked my dentist for an MSE and she said that she doesnt do it for adults. She said I would see expansion with braces. How do you convince your dentist to do that for you?

I have some supplements im taking that should increase igf-1 that I intended to use for height but if I increase facial bone that would be acceptable. I will let you know what I find.

My nose is hooked and it looks like someone hit my midface in with a hammer. I have difficulty breathing recently and have dark allergy like shiners. Would I need facepulling?

this works but u need to wear this for more then like 6-9 months maybe even a year because the maxilla will want to move back into the original position if its not there for like a long time..... try to use it every night during ur sleep and as much as u can in the day when ur alone 8

igf-1.

Wow you are 25 and just starting dental and looksmaxxing. I guess the earlier you do it the better.
I started at 22 and now at 24 I am nearly done, It was totally based on the wolff's law micro-fracturing method, chewing mastic gum, and using IGF-1. Also Tanning and dermarolling face.

For me, palatal expanding had slight effect too, but it makes the face shorter. Facepulling didn't have any positive effect at all and seemed to make my face more narrow. That was at the beginning before I realized that forming new bone was just the only fucking way.

I think I might have a tumor or excessive growth hormone. My upper back keeps growing forever, my eyelashes are growing forever, My head is getting slightly bigger. Hopefully I can get some forward growth to help me breathe better because my back is choking me out.

What benefits did you get from the IGF-1?

You are just gonna move your teeth and tip them if you attach it to braces. Even bone anchored appliances like MSE nearly only tips the teeth and does not move the actual bone because the molar bands(this is where most of the force from protraction goes onto) prevents that from happening

Worth a chance. My dentist will fix them next appointment

Teeth movement will not give you any skeletal forward movement. When your orthodontists corrects the teeth it everything will be back to normal, ack to the starting point. What you need is skeletal movement, not teeth tipping. The appliances that are available at the moment that an orthodontist is able to install can't give you skeletal forward movement

your best bet would be bollard miniplates. However there is still no documented skeletal forward movement even with bollards on adults and you can only load up to some amount of force without displacing them. In children it gives real skeletal results however I believe its highly unlikely that it could give any skeletal result on an adult. Still its the best option at the moment. And its definetely a much better option than pulling directly from teeth, which could actually cause a lot of problems.

Don’t connect to teeth, you’ll just move teeth and lose bone you won’t get back. Attach to mse

An ortodontist can install it. However not every orthodontist will give it to you, most of the orthodontists aren't even aware that MARPE exist, and will laugh straight onto your face if you mention that adult non-surgical palatal expansion is possible. If you find an airway focused ortodontist, it will up your chances of an orthodontist giving you MSE.
On the other hand I don't believe connecting facemask to MSE is a good idea, you are still pulling from molar bands and teeth are still involved in it. Therefore I am nearly %100 percent sure that you won't get any skeletal changes from pulling from the MSE molar bands. Bollard plates would be a better idea if you want to have any slight chance(which again, still probably not work despite being completely bone anchored. Because you can only load up to a certain amount of force without displacing them...)

Why would I lose bone?
moving teeth loses you alveolar bone, which regrows slowly or not at all. Your method of attaching the facemask to the braces would pull them through the upper jaw similarly to how AGGA does, look up AGGA and alveolar bone loss.

What about heavy vitamin D and calcium and igf-1 to repair bone loss. Plus you should get stimuli that you havent gotten before from the teeth moving like that.

not worth it imo, look up alveolar bone loss in general instead of just in the AGGA context, it seems to be GG after a certain point
