Tmd will my face deform

So basically I gave myself tmd/some sort of jaw problem idk what it is because theres no clicking.

Anyway

My molars used to make contact but now theres a paper thin gap between them whilst my front teeth touch fine.

Basically my teeth rest in the front now instead of back.

Someone told me it will deform my face. Is this legit? What kind of changes should i expect?
