Im looking for a conversation about TMJ disorder.
My TMJ-D started developing more last times. What im experiencing:
-Masseter tightness. My right masseter is bigger and much tighter than the left one. This muscle started to hurt when i touch it slightly harder with intention.

-Temporalis muscle tightness
. Right muscle is also tighter than the left one. Its tight in the front part, especially temple area.

-Assymetrical face. My face look more bloated on the right side. Its nothing crazy since im pretty lean but its annoying. Also i noticed that the fat pad is popping out more, exactly on the right side of the face (i assume its buccal fat pad area). Its caused by TMJ-D

-Other muscles of face on the right side are slightly tighter, bigger but these one are barely noticeable and I can barely feel it. Its not really a problem but I assume its caused by TMJ-D

Other typical problems caused of TMJ-D that Im experiencing :

-Jaw clicking when im opening my mouth. Clicking sound is not very loud too, not that loud of course like in more developed TMJ-D examples. Clicking dont appear when im doing controlled jaw opening, slow movement with tongue on the palate and controling opening movement with my hands.

-Headaches. I assume they are caused by TMJ

Ive heard people get TMJ from jutting constantly over long periods of time and it hurts so much they regret it. Honestly startgin to get scared because I get a weird sensation around there whenever I jutt

maybe its also clenching while juttiing. Actually i read a study about how slightly pushing mandible forward (still without teeth touching) help with tmj

It could help but tmd is caused from many factors because my mom got it from clenching too much and weird jaw movements in her sleep and she has a fully grown mandible. I found this article that talks about solutions to it which is pretty nice and Propranolol looks pretty interesting
