They're great.

But they place importance on things that imo, either don't make a difference at all, or at best make minimal difference in the long run.

Ex: 3x week frequency, and biasing muscles like the lats.

If someone trains in lower rep ranges (4-8), close to failure, hits a muscle at least twice a week, and gets stronger over time with exercises that target the main function of a muscle, they'll get as jacked as their genetics allow.

Hitting a muscle 3x week, doing both sagittal and frontal pulls for the lats, and doing isolated shoulder flexion for the upper chest is not going to noticeably transform someone's physique imo.
