ulrwhat split are you doing and why
Fullbody workout or "what did i not do last time"what split are you doing and why
or "how can i make 0 progress"Fullbody workout or "what did i not do last time"
Effective
6 reps 3-4 sets on most things, and just lifting 4-5 times a week brought me alot of progressor "how can i make 0 progress"
i just do 2 sets 1-2 rir6 reps 3-4 sets on most things, and just lifting 4-5 times a week brought me alot of progress
I base on compound lifts on free weights, squats deadlifts and bench, and do some stuff like skullcrushers, decline weighted situps etc for other body parts that dont get activated much during the big 36 reps 3-4 sets on most things, and just lifting 4-5 times a week brought me alot of progress
as a newbie in the gym you can do fuck all and still see progress. ur advice is complete fucking bullshit and will not work for a serious lifter with more than 6 months experience. shut hte fuck up if u dont know shit nigga6 reps 3-4 sets on most things, and just lifting 4-5 times a week brought me alot of progress
im nearing my third year of gym and i still see progress. Genuinely as long as you arent doing 1 set per sometimes and actually lift not til mild discomfort you will see progress, you have to grow if your body is under pressure. your brain doesnt care if you do 3 sets of 12 or 5 sets of 5 aslong as you actually lift shitas a newbie in the gym you can do fuck all and still see progress. ur advice is complete fucking bullshit and will not work for a serious lifter with more than 6 months experience. shut hte fuck up if u dont know shit nigga
i think you would most definetly get more gains doing something like chest flies to failure and kelso shrugsI base on compound lifts on free weights, squats deadlifts and bench, and do some stuff like skullcrushers, decline weighted situps etc for other body parts that dont get activated much during the big 3
honestly W ragebait I fell for itim nearing my third year of gym and i still see progress. Genuinely as long as you arent doing 1 set per sometimes and actually lift not til mild discomfort you will see progress, you have to grow if your body is under pressure. your brain doesnt care if you do 3 sets of 12 or 5 sets of 5 aslong as you actually lift shit
For chest I do either flat bench barbell or incline dumbbell pressi think you would most definetly get more gains doing something like chest flies to failure and kelso shrugs
not even bait. though my shit genuinely looks like a ulr split.honestly W ragebait I fell for it
do you know what ulr stands for?not even bait. though my shit genuinely looks like a ulr split.
I either do;
Chest, Tris, Biceps, Core
or
Legs, Back, Shoulders
yes. how is chest tri bi core considered anything close to upper? your split has nothing to do with ulr. it doesnt matter, too. do any split that can keep you consistently in the gym while progressing. it literally doesn't matter, just have a split u stick to.upper/lower no?
forgot rest
i would cut down on volume, imo there is no reason to overload on pressing movements with 3-4 sets, one pressing movement as a compound and chest flies as a isolation is enough, weighted pull ups are great but i would switch barbell rows(because of the lack of stability) for something like a wide grip low rowFor chest I do either flat bench barbell or incline dumbbell press
For bag I do different shit dependant on the muscle, but I mostly just do deadlifts 4-5 sets of 10, weighted pullups sets of 6, barbell shrugs mostly behind back, and barbell rows. Sometimes I add shit like lat pulldowns and machine stuff but thats mostly accessory work.
i mean the shit i do rn is what i stick to for a couple months right now, i previously did Push Pull (legs on push), but it just pissed me off genuinely so i started doin gwhat im doing rn.yes. how is chest tri bi core considered anything close to upper? your split has nothing to do with ulr. it doesnt matter, too. do any split that can keep you consistently in the gym while progressing. it literally doesn't matter, just have a split u stick to.
Nah nah, I either do flat bench or incline DB. Not both on same day.i would cut down on volume, imo there is no reason to overload on pressing movements with 3-4 sets, one pressing movement as a compound and chest flies as a isolation is enough, weighted pull ups are great but i would switch barbell rows(because of the lack of stability) for something like a wide grip low row
i still don’t understand why so much volume but if thats what you like do thatNah nah, I either do flat bench or incline DB. Not both on same day.
Flat bench I do 3-4 sets of 6 reps, incline DB I do 3 dropsets (for volume)
strength training, im not far from 100kg bench at a bodyweight of 68i still don’t understand why so much volume but if thats what you like do that
though I do alot of volume for back since its a big muscle that needs itstrength training, im not far from 100kg bench at a bodyweight of 68
eh, depends, if u go to failure any basic excersise is enoughthough I do alot of volume for back since its a big muscle that needs it
Yeah but back does need a bit of volume to be until failure since its a big and strong muscleeh, depends, if u go to failure any basic excersise is enough
this the type of shit the fucking uncs at my gym be telling me.though I do alot of volume for back since its a big muscle that needs it
also offtopic but dont train calves highkirk. Unless if ur training for aesthetics. Empty weight that doesnt help with squatting or anythingYeah but back does need a bit of volume to be until failure since its a big and strong muscle
Strength training focuses on strength, there is muscle growth but not as much as with pure hypertrophy/accessory training. Same thing in reverse.this the type of shit the fucking uncs at my gym be telling me.
"tone the muscle"
no nigga, there is no "strength" training. no, you don't need more volume for back. no, you don't need dropsets. if you are consistently progressing with strength, you will build muscle. you can NOT get stronger while not building muscle. its literally impossible.
drop the bullshit volume and dropsets
again, no such thing as "training for aesthetics" and "training for strength".also offtopic but dont train calves highkirk. Unless if ur training for aesthetics. Empty weight that doesnt help with squatting or anything
great frequencyFull body training. 3 times a week. 4 years gymaxxing
that's been debunked a thousand times over.Strength training focuses on strength, there is muscle growth but not as much as with pure hypertrophy/accessory training. Same thing in reverse.
Also "tone the muscle" is retarded i agree.
Alright bro Im hopping on 2x 12 Push Pull you convinced me.again, no such thing as "training for aesthetics" and "training for strength".
Yeah. I've lost a lot of weight since last year. I used to be a bulk maxed ogre but I've gotten into running since later yeargreat frequency
you're either lying about going to the gym for 3 years, or lying that you're progressing every session. literally just not possible.Alright bro Im hopping on 2x 12 Push Pull you convinced me.
As long as im seeing progress in what I do Imma continue doing it. Im progressing in weight almost every session so it clearly works for me.
Genuinely as long as you eat enough and train hard enough anything will work.
Running is fun though I don't really have anywhere to go runningYeah. I've lost a lot of weight since last year. I used to be a bulk maxed ogre but I've gotten into running since later year
2 sets 12 reps on any exerciseyou're either lying about going to the gym for 3 years, or lying that you're progressing every session. literally just not possible.
what do you mean 2x 12 push pull
you can always use the threadmill, even tho i hate running, walking mogs imoRunning is fun though I don't really have anywhere to go running
"just run on the sidewalk"![]()
Small progress, but topset being bigger or for more reps, or each session atleast one set is bigger weight than last time. Sometimes I stall but then it goes up again.you're either lying about going to the gym for 3 years, or lying that you're progressing every session. literally just not possible.
what do you mean 2x 12 push pull
walking is supreme. sprinting right after it.you can always use the threadmill, even tho i hate running, walking mogs imo
12 is too much, find a weight you can do 7-9 reps with. people go on about some 6-8 but truth is 99% of gym goers are not experienced enough to keep good form while lifting in the 6-8 range. at the last 1-2 reps their form breaks down, which is just pointless. go on 7-9 reps with good form. it's a bit more fatiguing but definitely recoverable from.2 sets 12 reps on any exercise
push pull
stop doing dropsets, you're cucking yourself.Small progress, but topset being bigger or for more reps, or each session atleast one set is bigger weight than last time. Sometimes I stall but then it goes up again.
And bro I started on my 14th birthday, and my 17th is coming up in 2 months and 2 days
I do 6 reps of most shit with big weight. Bench Squat Deadlift I do with weight heavier than me for 3-5 sets dependant on how fuelled up I am12 is too much, find a weight you can do 7-9 reps with. people go on about some 6-8 but truth is 99% of gym goers are not experienced enough to keep good form while lifting in the 6-8 range. at the last 1-2 reps their form breaks down, which is just pointless. go on 7-9 reps with good form. it's a bit more fatiguing but definitely recoverable from.
as time passes and you get more experienced you can go on 6-8 if you're confident in your form staying good till the last rep.
Theyre fun nglstop doing dropsets, you're cucking yourself.
I only do dropsets on chest, but I like themTheyre fun ngl
