Topical (List of most effective)
  1. RX DUAC cream (benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin)
Clindamycin is an antibiotic that effectively kills acne causing bacteria and benzoyl peroxide also has the same properties combining these 2 creates a strong anti inflammatory cream that cured my hormonal breakout in just 3 weeks of everyday appliance.
DUAC

  1. OTC salicylic acid 2%
This an effective treatment for clogged pores therefore preventing future breakouts also good if you have whiteheads SA acid also removes dead skin cells aiding in the natural shedding process. If you have combination skin (spot treat) or oily skin (full face) this is excellent due to the fact that is dissolves oil, and if a SA serum is used in the morning I have realized it gives your skin a natural glow, without looking duey.
salicylic acid 2%

3. OTC benzoyl peroxide 2.5%

Kills acne-causing bacteria on the skin and reduces redness and swelling but in my own experience for moderate to severe hormonal acne it is too weak of a product. Would only be recommended for mild acne cases.
benzoyl peroxide 2.5%
