Just got described topical Isotretinoin by my doc. Can anyone redpill me on this and how it compares to Tretinoin (Retin A)?

30 seconds on google:

Differences. Tretinoin is used to treat mild to moderate acne, but it's also used to treat age spots, sun damage, and wrinkles. Isotretinoin is prescribed for severe acne. It does not improve signs of aging or hyperpigmentation.

you should first try tretinoin and give it some weeks
0.025-0.05 cream
always use cleanser and moisturizer and spf 50
