topical tretinoin - how much to use ?

just got a doxycycline + tretinoin prescription
not taking the antibiotics as thats bs
but how much of the tretinoin gel should i actually put on my face ? the jester derma told me to go really light, but i dont believe any of her bs since she refused to give me accutane

just a pea sized amount. That's actually valid as tretinoin spreads throughout your face after being applied
