I get muscle burn tbh
With dumbels yes joint pain is significant but sam sulek style cable will prevent that

How to do it then?
Idk how to explain it but forearks does not grow like your chest or arms. Forearms will follow your weight for example chest can grow even if you eat at mainteance but forearms will stay the same you need to bulk up if you want them bigger

In short theyre like calves of the arms they will be bigger if you weight a lot but its mostly genetics
