Training only the back of the neck

What do you guys think of training the neck with only neck extension so the muscles from the behind?

The reason is that by making the front muscles on the neck larger you kinda risk making your jawline looks less projected because the muscles would occupied the space. Also risking of sleep apnea but this one is reversible.

might be ok but training it could lead to a strength imbalance and your head having the tendency to tilt upwards this in turn could lead to the development of forward head posture which is definitely not something you want.

I overtrained the front ones and it fucked my posture. Fuck the muh neck tards who advocate excessive neck training.

Now I have muscle imbalance and shit from it. I might need botox or something or need a fucking chiropractor. FUCK Y'ALL!

perpetually training your neck by holding good posture for years > hitting it for 15 minutes a week at the gym

Idk. If you balance it or it doesn't screw up your posture or such, yeah. For many here they fall victim to muh neck overtraining shit.

Not to mention Klinefelters.org here so overtraining neck while having the body of a eunuch to begin with is prolly a bad idea.

It's really fucking simple, train until your neck looks good.
-Just do 2-3 sets of Flexion, Extension, Lateral Flexion and Rotations once or twice a week. (10-30 reps each set)
-Start with bodyweight then move to banded and then weighted neck work.
-Once your pencil neck is gone, once a week or every other week will maintain your neck.
-Also, if you grapple/wrestle, your neck will grow without trying within the sport.
-Training front of neck will increase vascularity to the jaw, but can be overdone.

All neck training can be overdone. Unless your want to ogremax and grow massive neck like Goldberg.
