He’s a low iq gymcel that post corny content
1. He’s actually very smart you can see it from the fact he’s actually very knowledable about lifting and anatomy
2. For me his content isnt corny at all its just your personal emotions

He is insisting that you will grow more from 2-3 reps over 5-7 which is completely wrong

Bro…. Literally if you do 2-3 reps youre gonna be less cns fatigued than by doing 5-7… its a common sense if youre atleast a little smart… and i dont think its even gonna make a difference if you do 3 or 5 reps

2-3 reps isnt nearly enough stimulus matter fact 5 reps is literally the sweet spot. With what you are saying theoretically you will grow more from a 1rm than from a genuine set

Also why he’s a gymcel? Obviously the gym is his passion and the biggest hobby but he doesnt seem to think that being big will give him girls or hes superior to those who dont train etc, if you mean that he’s fat then he’s diabetic bro he can’t cut

Bro:forcedsmile::forcedsmile::forcedsmile: there is no sweet spot in lifting. And going back to reps if you do 2 or 5 reps the stimilus is the same. Let me break it down to you so even the dumbest person can understand, so youre starting a set and you have a 100% of strenght. When you do 5 reps your every rep costs you 20% of strenght and if you do 2 reps every rep costs you 100% of strenght. In the end on both sets you got the same stimulus. Andd yes 1 rep max would be as good BUT there is one problem with one rep max and that is neurological addaptations

First-Form, with lower reps your form is significantly worse and also causes stress to the ligaments
2nd-Rest/Recovery, you have to rest 3-5mins in between each exercise

forgot to mention hydration which is optimal for recovery

If you’re an experienced lifter you can have good form and still do low reps… it’s all personal skill and i dont care about that, i just care what’s true and not. Also most of people who didn’t fuck up their bones before will be all good doing very low reps. Let me take myself for example i’m sometimes doing both 1-3 and 4-8 reps and my body is not hurt

Im saying with first hand experience my shoulders are really fucked up from 2-4 reps on shoulder press 4x a week and i would say i have relatively good form and tend to not ego life

Yeah bro it’s all personal about your tendons but talking all hypothetical if your shoulders are all good doing lower reps would in theory be better but if your shoulders arent so healthy then do higher reps bhai dont injure yourself

Stay hydrated in between sets
I suppose you might be talking that by doing lower your recovery beetween sets would be worse. Well that makes sense but it isn’t the case actually, you recover beetween sets the same as by doing higher reps and actually better because its all cardiovascular fatigue and all that matters in the recovery is just how far you were from failure
