The Russian-Ukrainian war is probably the biggest corruption war in the world, so it doesn't even make sense to add it here. They're fighting with money, not people.

Well, Bakhmut, actually, there are also huge savings on the Russian side. They could have just demolished the City to hell, but they sent prisoners there to fight as part of the PMCs. There is such rampant corruption in the Russian army that most people buy equipment with their own money, and the Ukrainians are successfully attacking literally because of this

Even with payments to the dead, the Russian Federation is also scamming its people. My friend's uncle went to war in my opinion at the 2023, he was literally torn to pieces there, but they will not pay the money, because the body cannot be identified and he is considered missing
