Tretinoin not working, do I up dose or just switch to isotret?

I’ve been on tretinoin 0.05% concentration for roughly 11 weeks by now and my acne looks significantly worse than when I started. I understand that purging is part of the process but surely it should be over by week 11 right? Should I give it a few more months or just make the switch to isotret?

Tret is more for collagen/wrinkles. It can help acne in certain people. I'd say keep going a while longer and see if it clears up
