pain wise not really, just annoying figuring out how to use and stretching out your face muscles. noone told me what i cant do so i was just walking around the hospital from the 2nd day until i was discharged. was very stressful though, and dont be a dumbass and smoke for some time after, i ended up getting an abcess but after few days antibiotics i was fine. misery rating 3/10
