So i have been seeing a lot of posts regarding how many surgeries some are going to take and what they need to fix on their face and such, but i kinda refuse to believe there is a "final surgery" that will ascend you that much, like getting surgery sucks in all aspects, the pre surgery, cost, surgery itself, and the god awful RECOVERY which for some may take up months. All swelled up, difficulty breathing, probably cant move, have to be forced to eat through a straw, pain everywhere, the long sleepless nights full of pain and confusion, i think that takes a toll on your MENTAL HEALTH and thats not talked about enough. Like you may have done all that, and think "ok NOW that i have went through all this pain and preparation, girls will dig me since im so much better looking" just to find that girls will probably still ignore you.
Some surgeries may make sense from a health perspective as well, for instance jaw surgery to improve air flow is critical for a healthy happy life, same with nose if you got a deviated septum or such, or a corrective leg discrepancy surgery, or some sort of surgery after you suffered an accident.
But getting something like lefort 2 is in my opinion completely unhinged, or leg lenghteting surgery.
I do think that some cosmetic procedures could be alright and give a big ROI, such as fixing and aligning your teeth, correcting your nose, correcting your ears (otoplasty), maybe getting fillers and botox (very little invasive and if done properly, in small quantities can have a good overall effect for your face), etc.
But with the rest its quite risky, the effects are not that impressive, its expensive, and the recovery time is extremely long, i mean jesus if you are 20 years old and you spend 6 months doing recovery thats like 5% of your remaining "youth" (until 30 yrs old more or less) wasted bedridden (if Leg lenghtening surgery) or being in massive pain and swelling (huge looksmin)
