i agree with what u were saying about how economy should be ran, ur describing capitalism, but only fools think united states is capitalism ,its a crooked version of it, its a federal reserve debt scam where government constantly bails out large corporations and has made extreme regulations and taxes where hiring people is hard and really expensive and then lower class blame the 1% and say that if they take the money from the rich and give it to the poor it will make everything good which makes no sense, u need rich people to make money and give jobs to the rest of people which is why its failing as we speak

none of those countries had a free market. Germany had a mixed system with industrial subsidies and incentive + protection. Russia had state capitalism. Britain is the exception as Gladstone embraced free trade and the late victorians had a free market to a large extent but this led to decline in share of global economy and production. british empire was built on mercantilism and state support/intervention. best system is a mixture between neo-mercantilism (more like economic nationalism) while considering smithian specialisation. Basically just look at what the asian tigers did. thats the ideal economic model (or as close as we will come)
