its because regular curlers are designed for rounder eyes, if you have a prominent browridge or deep set eyes it can be difficult to curl the outer lashes. the one i have is flat and small. i will also try a heated one because my lashes are too stubborn.

clear mascara gives you that thick wet eyelash look but its not obvious like black

it wont damage them jfl i curl my hair daily with a flat iron and its completely fine. the only thing that actually damaged my hair was bleaching it. its almost impossible to significantly damage hair with heat, i dont know who came up with that
