I've been getting intermittent twitching on and off in random areas of the body but mainly in a hotspot, my right knee. Seems like my new hotspot is my left calf.

I have dealt with this. Eyelid twitching. My hands are always shaking but I was diagnosed with tremors. People always think I’m nervous because my hands are shaking hahaha.

My very first twitch was an eyelid twitch in December. Then my right knee would start twitching.

BFS isn't very widely known among docs outside of the US and isn't taken seriously. It causes serious anxiety issues in many (fear of thinking they have Lou Gehrig's when they don't).

It's extremely unlikely that I have Lou Gehrig's given the fact none of my family had it, none carry gene mutations such as SOD1 or FUS mutations, and I'm 25, not an athlete or army vet.

I haven't been to a doctor for my BFS twitching. In fact here in the UK if you have BFS and you come in thinking you have ALS you're prescribed Xanax and sent to a mental ward.

Quite funny but gives me anxiety sometimes since ALS has twitching as a symptom. I don't have any weakness at the moment though.
