bump for the help of the boyo

Not sure, but I have this a little bit too.
I always felt like I wanted a lower facelift to fix it (and other issues), even when I was like 19 lol (what 19 year old needs a facelift?!)
I also used to suspect it could be due too a lack of support from having some recession and a weak chin/narrow jaws.
I'm not really sure of the cause, but I imagine lots of things would fix it. Lower facelift, genio, maybe even a chin implant, possibly even fillers.

Ideal solution will probably be based on what the actual cause is (such as overbite or whatever?!)

(i'm actually interested in getting a facelift recently, even though i'm not 90 years old lol. So many 'young' celebs are getting them nowadays and they seem to fix so many issues in one surgery)

Keep me in the loop if you do anything to fix it!

it was almost invisible when i was younger ( like 18) , and as i age it get worse and worse unforuntately, i was thinking maybe botox to stop the DAO contraction ( if it can help)

Your jaw is recessed.

bump if others have opinion or tips

Your jaw is recessed.
sure, but the bulge was not " so apparent" before. what do you think i should do? if i do jaw surgery it might improves this bulge? thanks man

I have the same flaw. It happens you to keep your lips together. You might be alright with getting braces or even corrective veneers. However jaw surgery/chin surgery is more reliable. It entirely depends on how your jaws rests.

Practice good tongue posture, it might help.
Also it could be a bit of bloating.

Look into mewing and de-bloating methods.

thanks bro, i am french so i didn't understand the part when you told me about the lip together? i try to get good tongue posture at rest ( for a decade now doing mewing). Which kind of jaw surgery should i get according to you? i emailed french surgeon, but they don't know shit... they just recommend doing genioplasty

thanks man, i do mewing for many years, but it doesn't help unfortunately.
bloating i don't really know i am 65 kg for 187 cm BUT AND it is a big but, i take minoxidil topical... it is know to bloat face, but don't think it can cause DAO bulge

you think getting braces could help? interesting. I Have a twin brother who got braces while being a teenager ( i didn't want it cause i was stupid and wanted to look good in middle school... ) and he didn't get this flaw! damn my stupidity

genioplasty is probably best tbh.

honestly i always had that chin and this issue was never apparent in the past. Might be my shitty aging.
You think genioplasty could make this issue less apparent?
damn my lower third is really what is killing me.

That flaw doesn't seem to show there?
You need to speak too an expert (and let me know when you do as i'm very curious) but my suspicion is that you have an underlying issue that causes it, and it's made worse by age. For example, a small recessed chin might turn into a kind of sagging tissue over time as it doesn't have enough support for the soft tissue.
I'd imagine a genio could certainly help. I've seen examples, though not identical, where it looks like they had a facelift when in fact they only had genio.
Of course a facelift would fix it too
Other than that, i'm not sure much would fix it.

thanks a lot, yes it was not visible before.. it get worse and worse as i age. just afraid to end up like a bogdanoff if i do a genioplasty. unfortunately in france the surgeon are so bad. I mailed some of them who don't know what to do. I Think i also have bad swallowing habiT;
i was thinking about doing a " midface " lift maybe

i have such a terrible aging genetic bro... this flaw looks so weird from face and profile. i always had that weak chin and you might be right that the sagging appears worst as i age ( becausr of lack of support).

yes my chin is weak bro, but weirdly didn't have those bulge during my teen, early 20 , mid 20

aging is a disaster for me, i used to pretty boy, but hair loss/ minoxidil/ unwanted facial hair / scarring/ skin aging kills me.. i should have enjoyed my 15/ 25 way more...
