UC obliterating my eardrums

My UC machine arrived today, I got the 40k Freyara mini. I tested it and even on the lowest setting it's so loud that its completely unusable without damaging my hearing and giving myself tinnitus. Even if I puff out my cheeks and avoid bone it's literally unbearable even for a second.

How tf do people do this shit on their face? Does anyone have the 80k or 30k machine? Are they more bearable?

Edit: I tried it on my body and even that causes my ears to ring, no matter where it touches my body

I'm considering returning it and exchanging it for the 80k device. Apparently penetrates less deeply and isn't as loud.
To be honest though I'm not sure I can tolerate any of this on my face, literally feels like CIA black-site tier torture, and I've had multiple surgeries so I have a high tolerance for discomfort.

Got the same one, I'm 3 sessions in and the first one definetely gave me a bit of muffled hearing for a day or two, but the sound during the session wasn't unbearable at all, I have no idea why it is for you, maybe we got different ones then afterall.

I now listen to music during my sessions (airpods) and the muffled hearing post session stopped happening.

refund and get 80k it is significantly quieter and safer

I've been doing around 12 mins each side, power 6 on the LW-101 40 khz machine. around 13 sessions now with 48 hours of rest, 2 times 72 hours of rest. I stopped and now I'll be focusing on the drainage, pair with EMS for optimal drainage.
