Im convinced when people say theyll love someone unconditionally they dont know what their signing up for

A spoiled child expects the parents love unconditionally (“i thought youd support me forever”)

A unresponsible adult expects the childs love unconditionally (overshares, doesnt take care as much, might over expose the child to the world)

A bad partner expects love unconditionally

A bad public speaker expects love unconditionally

Teaching your kid youll love them unconditionally or that its the norm will stunt them, the internet has exastrabated this

The only true “unconditional love” is that which you’ll always have

If you’re always rich then yeah, you’ll always be unconditionally loved because under all conditions your rich
