Under eye fat grafting > Lefort 1

If you guys could tell which is which I would be very surprised. Ofc if you are max recessed lefort is needed but I feel like now everyones first thought is trimax but fat grafting works very well, don't get me wrong trimax is the holy grail of hardmaxxes but under eye fat grafting can make a huge difference to front and side profile, even in a masking a recessed maxilla. I feel like between this and a genioplasty are the two highest roi procedures that you could have done. Lmk what yall think

If your being sarcastic fair, I wrote this thread poorly. My main thing I wanna say is that I think undereye fat grafting combined with a genioplasty can do 75% of what a trimax could do though many don't know that

hard to judge before and after in the side profile one since she's not in the Natural Head position for the before. I do not recommend doing fat grafting to mask midface hypoplasia since it usually comes with functional issues to do with the airway.

also you do realise under eye area has nothing to do with a lefort 1 movement? Please open a textbook and learn before posting things like this on the subforum

Has nothing to do with each other I know that and never claimed that. It Under eye fat grafting lasts super long which is why I think its a good mask combined with a genioplasty. Could you tell me out of all of the images which are lefort and which are fat grafting?

I looked at your face your maxilla is way too recessed your chin being extremely forward kinda masks it but your maxilla and mandible recession is a lot. Your trimax will ascend you a lot. My point is more for people with average faces with minimal recession. What did i say that was wrong exactly? i linked my face, in particular to me, yes my whole face is recessed but I want to ascend asap I think that genioplasty and under eye fat grafting will ascend me a lot, less than trimax ofc but way more than ppl would think

I mean lf1 is mostly a meme for infras anyway, who is even saying to do lf1 for infras on this forum? At this point most people know they need targeted infra work if they have an issue with under eyes. The discussion is mostly about implants vs fat, not lf1.

Fat graft and lf1 aren’t menus you order at a restaurant, you can’t compare them and surgery only makes sense when you look at who it is applied to.

For you, well first we’d need to see your bite, but as we’ve seen often on this forum it is true that genio can yield great results by itself. And you also have hollow under eyes meaning graft will be good.

Fair I'm just looking at results. Any jaw surgery takes a lot of recovery planning and money for most people its not needed. My bite is lowk cooked I got an edge to edge underbite or very slight underbite so yea. I think genio and ortho would be enough along with fat grafting in under eyes what do you think?

Not at all but fat grafting masks some of the things done by lefort 1 and is a long term thing. Could you tell me of the images above which are fat grafting and which are lefort

Well yes lefort 1 is very important and needed lots of times but for someone with a maxilla recession and hollow under eyes like me I feel like fat grafting will make a bigger difference than most would think

might be only proper solution for true negative vector with resulting lid sag
