If you honestly believe the average girl is holding out against the social pressure of the modern campus, you're living in a fantasy. Look at the mechanics hypergamy is the engine, and the hivemind is the driver. When the top tier of guys demands access, the pressure on these girls to comply isn't just social, it's existential. Her friends are whispering in her ear to "let loose" and "stop being prude," and eventually she caves because being the center of that chaos is the only way to feel like she has status. I’ve seen the group dynamics play out over and over she starts by flirting with the circle then she’s doing it for the attention and by the end of the semester she’s just another roster spot.
Most girls don’t just happen to end up there they are conditioned by their friends, their peers, and their own desperate need for validation to give it up to the collective. If you’re dating a girl who spent four years on a campus, you’re just the guy cleaning up the damage from a cycle that’s been running on every single one of them.
