Taller nose is good, have you heard of Botox on alar base?
yesdo you need to apply it only ln the sides and under or where do you apply? My low iq brain can not understand it
That’s just how HC works, careful don’t use it to much or that redness will rebound worseyes
i have the typical redness in the sides,
its kinda crazy i use it today and rn the redness kinda dissapeared
i dont have any nose reduction ofc is day 1
im following this guideThat’s just how HC works, careful don’t use it to much or that redness will rebound worse
I have for a while now, it works okay, don’t do it to many days in a row or you could get rebound redness or in my case, an acne breakout in the spot. Also I kept it only in the alar base sides. I’ll be trying nose Botox soon to see if it’s betterim following this guide
you do hc too? any tips?
So I apply on the green part and no more up
so this would shrink my nose tip or only the sides? cuz my issue is that the tip looks bloated most of the time but my sides are small
By no means is this medical advice. Even though the risks are relatively low, everyone is different and some people may respond to this differently than others (although as I said, the majority should be fine).
"Wait, have you had a nose job?",
two girls that I met at a casino asked me as I got talking to them.
I was very pleasantly surprised to hear that because, although I knew that this method works, I did not realize, until then, just how much my nose has ascended thanks to it.
Hence,
I present to you, by far, one of the most underrated looksmaxes on this forum.
The reason why I'm making an updated version is not only due to what I've said above, but also because I have learned a lot more on this topic since I've made the original thread.

Table Of Contents:
Hydrocortisone Info & Proper Usage Preserving Your HPA Axis Quick Word on Retinoids (see spoiler) My Progress & Testimonials
Hydrocortisone Info:
I have already talked about this in the first thread, but I will repeat it anyways in a concise way:
Hydrocortisone (HC) is a topical corticosteroid (again, no, not the "scary" anabolic/androgenic steroid for any giga high inhibcels) used to treat inflammation, redness, swelling, etc.
One of its side effects is thinning of skin, which is exactly why it is so effective when it comes to shrinking your nose.
Potential Side Effects of 1% Hydrocortisone (uncommon, mild):
- Skin atrophy (1)
- Rosacea-like eruptions (1)
If you experience any of these, take a break or hop off for good.
Proper Usage of Hydrocortisone:
Apply two pea-sized drops of 1% hydrocortisone cream onto your nose and spread evenly around the cartilage, including the bottom of the nose. I recommend you do not go above the tip of the nose and onto the nose bridge, as we do not want skin thinning there, as it can make the dorsa more prominent. Rub the cream in thoroughly, after which, remove any excess HC from around the nose, but do keep a layer of it on the desired area for about five minutes, then take that off as well. After a few minutes, if not straight away, water may start leeching out of the top of your nose, which is technically a good thing, so just keep wiping it off, that should persist to up to 15 minutes. The effects of hydrocortisone should last for up to an entire day.
Hydrocortisone Regimen:
Get your body used to it. First, apply the cream for two weeks straight, once a day, no matter what. Results most likely won't be very significant from the very first time you apply it.
After that is done, only apply it when you need your nose to shrink, such as when you're going out.
Hydrocortisone's Effects on Your HPA Axis:
If you want to know exactly what you HPA axis is, go look it up. In short terms, it is a system of glands that regulates your stress response and involves the following organs:
Some people have asked me things along the lines of "but xnj, what about you HPA axis, won't that get fucked with while you're on it?".
So here is the answer to this question:
Hydrocortisone raises cortisol. However, one may think that it does not do it to an extent, especially in such low, almost negligible dosages, where it has some sort of effect on the rest of your body, right? Wrong. After prolonged use, your body will feel the slight change and will adapt to it, potentially causing you a bit of trouble.
Preserving Your HPA Axis:Since HC raises your cortisol, we need something that lowers it. Here is where Ashwagandha comes into play. You know how people claim it has "testosterone-boosting" effects? Well that is the case because it lowers your cortisol (which is what can stagnate test production, hence the claims).
Take 500-800mg (depending on your brand's dosage per pill) right before you apply the cream. You can keep doing that for about 8 weeks, after which I suggest you take a 4-week break from ashwagandha, whilst also slightly lowering your HC usage. After that, you can resume just as usual.
Since I've mentioned it in my first thread, I will not be giving any in-depth advice on retinoids in this thread, as all you need to do to make your nose shrink from them, is follow their usual regimens. All I'm going to say is that it does shrink the nose in most cases, however not all skin complexions/conditions are predisposed to said shrinkage. But whether to use it or not - is up to you. Take a dermatologist's advice, or at the very least, find reputable threads here if you do want to use it (I'm on about general usage btw, not exclusively for the nose).

Wrong. After prolonged use, your body will feel the slight change and will adapt to it, potentially causing you a bit of trouble.

i have, it did helpLate reply but do you know anyone that has tried it, I need anecdotal evidence
sadist have you tried betamethasone i heard its a stronger form of hq thoughts on it?
unnecessary, hc alr does the jobDo you think betamethasone would work for this purpose?
doubt, anything below tret is just too weakDoes retinol do this too or any other product that don't need prescription
absolutely, dont overthink this. the most youll get from topical hc is slight redness, which is not deep at all. if you do even get it and it does piss u off enough, just use azelaic acidi heard that it can cause discoloration of the nose, literally obliteration of the cartilage only if injected tho, but still the hydrocortisone still penetrates the skin and gets to the bloodstream. Can i still use it everyday?
its not permanent, but it varies from person to person. some use it daily as skincare, and some (like me, especially since i started tret) dont have to use it more than like twice a weekis it permanent or just for a day?I appreciate an answer
Was your septum deviated before or normal but airway was just narrow?i have, it did help
how long did you need to do daily use for it to get used enough to the point where it retains small size? any damage of the skin barrier?unnecessary, hc alr does the job
id say only try it if hc does fuck all for you, but at own risk
doubt, anything below tret is just too weak
absolutely, dont overthink this. the most youll get from topical hc is slight redness, which is not deep at all. if you do even get it and it does piss u off enough, just use azelaic acid
personally, my nose turned very slightly rosy, but to a negligible extent

HC up to 1%, which is the percentage Sadist suggests, is available without prescription. If they ask, say you need a cream for topical dermatitis bhaiNot bad, you can’t get HC without prescription tho
How is itmy hidrocortisone cream just arrived
im starting today and i will be posting updates here
